Andrew made this bunny picture with cotton balls at the CoOp today; when I picked him up he said "This is for my Daddy, not you Momma." hahaha!!

Happy Birthday Mommy
Besides my dentist appointment this morning, I had a nice lay-low day, I wish I had gotten more accomplished with my course, but I am going to work on that now that the boys are in bed!
For my birthday dinner I made chicken burgers which were very yummy, but I forgot to take a picture :-( Just pound chicken breasts, sprinkle lemon pepper on both sides. Fry up some bacon, drain on paper towels; using the same pan with the bacon grease fry up the chicken until it is cooked through, put the bacon on top, top with a slice of cheese (I used sliced mozarella) and put it on a bun with some mayo, YUMMY!!!
Adam helped me make my birthday cake yesterday, I am practicing for the boy's birthday cakes, so I decided to try out decorating a purse cake for myself. Besides the frosting, which is always my least favorite part, I was actually pretty proud of myself. It was extremely simple, but decorating is not my forte so I needed something simple, haha!!!
Birthday Song
Adam recorded me a birthday song on his new iPhone app that auto-tunes your voice; I tried changing the format several times to get it to upload to the blog, but I didn't have any luck, so I gave in and just recorded it with my camcorder; cheesy I KNOW, but I really wanted to share it with you all so it was my last ditch effort to get it to work on here. I hope you guys enjoy it, I LOVE IT!!!

Birthday Party
Tonight the boys and I went to a birthday party for one of our neighbors (Anna's dad). Andrew had a lot of fun playing with Anna (his girl, in his words) and he and Riley even played outside a little with all the other kids!!! It was a fun time at their church, a lot of new people to meet and tons of kids to play with!!!
Easter Egg Hunt
We went to the Easter Egg Hunt this morning at Freedom Park. Andrew was not really into it, he was too distracted watching Daddy and Riley through the fence, but I managed to get him to pick up a few and he was proud of what he did get afterward! Each one had a little knick-knack in it!!! The Easter Bunny and Barney were also there, although Andrew made sure to stay as far away from them as he could manage...

Studying Hard
Adam has his End of Course test next Wednesday, which is the test over all 5 volumes he has been studying since November. He had mini tests with each volume, but this is the BIG one over all of them. He has a review with his supervisor tomorrow to prepare so he is trying to do a review.
He did well on each volume, so I am sure he will do great, but WISH HIM LUCK!!!
P.S. He didn't appreciate me taking this picture, I got the NASTY look; if looks could kill... but he loves the attention, don't let him fool you!!

Sony Cyber-Shot
You also may have noticed the last picture was a lot sharper than our previous pictures have been. My camera got broken a couple months ago, so I ordered a new one and just got it in the mail. Of course since I couldn't take the picture of the camera WITH the camera this picture does it NO justice, but she is a beauty!!!

Junior KING
Scooby Doo Pop N Race
I realized the blog was turning into a Recipe Forum and I hadn't posted a picture in awhile of the boys. We haven't really done anything EXTRA special, so I haven't been posting much, but I realized that ANYTHING can be extra special when it includes them!!!
At the BX today Andrew picked out a game that was similar to TROUBLE!! That was one of my favorite games growing up, so I was excited to see they made a modern kid's upgrade, haha!!

Crawling
I was finally able to get a pretty good video of him crawling; most of the time by the time I get the camcorder he either decides he wants to sit and smile and coo at the camera instead of crawling or he wants to be picked up. But, he has MASTERED the skill of crawling!! For the longest time he was doing more of a skooch dragging his lower body along, but he decided last week to push up on his knees and look at him now!! He is already trying to pull himself up too, so walking may not be too far behind!!!

Andrew's Sick :(
So, I took Andrew to the doctor's today and he has double ear infections and a sinus infection. He also had a little conjuctivitis starting in his eye so they put drops in. He is on antibiotics for 12 days now to hopefully clear this up. His medicine is flavored like strawberry milk so at least he enjoys that part! But, this sick face makes me so sad! You can tell he is miserable and not feeling well.

Adam's new pride and joy
Adam is so proud of this TV (I am sure you can tell by his pose) that he bragged to about 4 of his co-workers that were also at the BX just in the short time we were checking out. This picture does not really do it any justice though, you will have to see it in person sometime to believe it!! It is a Samsung 50 inch plasma screen 1080P HD TV! Adam is still sitting in front of it staring with his mouth open...HONESTLY!!
One thing I must say though is I measured for this TV last week and he assured me that it WOULD fit. It does not fit in the center part where it is supposed to, it hangs over my shelves so I have to rearrange everything to fit around HIS TV. Nice, huh? JK!!!! He definitely deserves it!!

Allied American University
I am VERY excited to announce that I will be enrolling in a business degree program at Allied American University within the next week. The only thing I am waiting for is to get a scanned copy of my diploma and marriage certificate to them and then I will OFFICIALLY be an enrolled student there!!
This is a completely online course that consists of 40 courses to obtain a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. The degree will be broken down so that I can obtain smaller degrees along the way and use them as I can. So, firstly, after I finish my first 5 courses I will have earned a Certificate of Business with which I can get my foot in the door of a company if an opportunity presents itself at the time.
Secondly, I will take 15 more courses and will then have earned my Associates of Science in Business Administration and will be able to get a better job than I would be able to with the certificate.
And, finally, finishing off the last half is another 20 courses and will then have reached my goal of having a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.
At that point I would be able to optain a fairly good job with my degree and hopefully find a job easily as Adam is transferred to different bases. Depending on where we are at the time I can always transfer my credits to another University and work towards a Masters as well, but for right now I am concentrating on each small step at a time.
With me not working now it is a great time for me to finally get started and with the Air Force Spouse Credit it is only going to be $20,000 out of pocket for the entire Bachelor's degree which is less than one year at a normal college when I was graduating high school.
If I am able to do 1 course every 5 weeks then I will have completed it as a full time student, but luckily there is no time limit, so if I am not able to get them done that quickly it is not a huge deal. So wish me luck and keep me in your thoughts!!!!
