Snail

As I was closing the windows I saw a snail on the walkway in the backyard. I was so excited, I have never seen a snail before!

Laying Around

Riley wasn't feeling well today, he had a little fever. Here is he laying with Daddy on the couch relaxing once the Tylenol kicked in.

Andrew was trying on Daddy's ear protection from work the other night; everytime he talked he was yelling since he couldn't hear himself talking!

WALKING

Riley is finally walking; here he is walking to Mommy!! He is still not steady, but 5 steps is a huge improvement for him!! Up until now he has INSISTED upon crawling...

PlayDough Grill

Andrew made Daddy a hamburger with some french fries for a bedtime snack with his new PlayDough grill!! He was very proud of himself and even got around to making hot dogs, potato chips, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, and onions as well!!

ASILO

I got a call this afternoon that Andrew has been accepted into the ASILO, the Italian preschool program, starting September 13th. I told Andrew 30 minutes ago and he is still jumping around telling me he wants to go to school; he apparently thought I meant NOW, haha!! He says he needs a new backpack and new clothes, we'll see what Daddy says...!!! And, he may be the first little boy to actually be excited about homework like Mommy's...we'll see!!

Inside the toy box

This is Riley's new hangout when he is playing; he ALWAYS climbs INSIDE of his toy buckets!! Here he is watching a little bit of Super Readers with Andrew while playing the piano!!
