We had quite the morning!! It was quite messy and our eggs look like they were layed in the mud, but we had TONS of FUN!!! Riley was more interested in eating the candy inside the eggs rather than finding more and Andrew wanted to skip the eggs and do the baskets, but I managed to keep a routine, haha. I think I needed an assistant today, though...haha
We made our Easter treat today so we would have it in time for tomorrow, and be able to concentrate on all the other fun activities we have planned!! I am not crazy about the flavor, but it was fun to make and the boys are having a field day with all the candy decorating!!
Now that I have received all of the paintings I ordered for Andrew's room and Grammy sent the bedding and playmat, Andrew's room is completely decorated and finished!! I am still waiting on some of Riley's, but I will post those when his is finished too...
Andrew wouldn't even get near the Easter Bunny; he is definitely his father's son in situations such as these. Riley at least sat near him; he didn't smile, but he didn't cry either!!
We went to the indoor carnival today; Andrew wasn't interested in anything they had to offer, and Riley was too young to play most of the games, but he did sit for a little face painting. Too bad she did a lame sun....but he still looks cute!!
The boys' bedding box came today from Gramma and Grampa; and boy were they happy to see it. I have ordered a few paintings for their rooms so once they are done I will post final pictures of their whole room for everyone to see!!
Everytime we go to the commissary Andrew likes to pick out the different colors of milk, and since he apparently likes the taste of all of them and I am not picky about how much milk fat he takes in since he is so skinny anyway, it doesn't really matter, but I just noticed today when putting it back that there is a skinny cow on the skim milk and a fat cow on the whole milk. Is the commissary trying to tell me something since I still at age 24 drink whole milk?? haha
While I was trying to get Riley down for a nap (which I must say is not as easy as it was at bedtime and definitely not as simple as when he was in a crib!!) Andrew decided he would write in my bible, and although I wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea at first, I realized he was trying to write my name like I had, and I must say he did a great job on the R and the A!!
