Happy Halloween

We got some Halloween goodies in the mail today; the boys got song cards with $10 cash EACH, name signs from Conway (Andrew Ave. and Riley Blvd.) and personalized ones from Gramma with their full names on a holographic plaque, coloring books, glow sticks, parachuters, movies, swirly straw cups and of course CANDY!!! Mommy and Daddy both got candy too with personalized washcloths, light-up cup holders for Daddy and jewelry and creepy salad tongs for Mommy!!!

Halloween Fall Fest

We went to the FallFest on base tonight in celebration of Halloween; I uploaded some pictures but the quality is not that great since I am currently without an actual camera, but hopefully after Christmas that will change ;)

Daddy wasn't able to join us until the end because he got called into work, but we had fun getting some candy and playing games!!

One of the funniest parts was at the first tent where Andrew said "Trick or Treat" and the guy said "Go ahead and take two" to which Andrew replied "You're supposed to give me the candy." LOL; that's my boy...

Festa della Zucca

We went to Venzone for the Pumpkin Festival today; traffic was a bit busy, but we got to see a beautiful view of the mountains! Venzone is built inside of an old castle complete with a moat and everything!! The boys got to climb a pile of debris from a church that had fallen down; Daddy had to help Riley a bit, but Andrew was as brave as ever walking around on the top ledge (maybe a little too brave). The festival was really interesting, but none of the hundreds of pumpkin flavored foods appealed to us (they had so many including pumpkin burgers, pasta, even pizza!) so we went to McDonalds on the way home! The boys liked it because there was a play area after we ate too!!

Rock Band

We played some family Rock Band yesterday; Andrew is really getting into rocking out on that guitar!!

Bedtime

Daddy is on gate duty working days this week, so the boys get him for their bedtime rituals all week long!! This is always the time Riley is calling for Daddy so it works out well. Andrew decided he was going to listen from under the futon :)

P.S. I love those criss-crossed legs too; all 3 of them do that!!! :)

Alfred

We got and carved our Halloween pumpkin today!! We decided on the name Alfred.

Watch out Drivers!

While I was getting everything ready to go to the grocery store the boys were trying to go for a joy ride!!

The sign Adam ordered me at the bazaar was delivered today! It looks much better in person; I absolutely love it!

Halloween Rap Video

Although Daddy would not "officially" approve, the boys and I made a little rap video; just couldn't resist :)

A1C to SrA

Adam is officially a SrA (Senior Airman) today; it is hard to tell the difference when looking at it by itself so I put his uniform with the A1C stripes next to him.

Family Tree

I thought you might all like to see our "family tree" magnet. I had read about the idea in a military mom article so kids are able to see their family's faces everyday, and I liked the idea, so here it is!! I thought you guys might enjoy seeing it!

Souvenir Sweatshirts

Gramma and Grampa sent the boys these cute souvenir sweatshirts from Funtown. Riley was not as crazy about the idea of putting on a sweatshirt, but it is kind of hot here today. They look so comfy!!
