Toy Train Depot

We went to the Toy Train Depot with Gramma and Grampa today; we had a fun time walking through the museum to see the different layouts of train displays and we even got to take a train ride around the park.  It was a bit chilly on the train ride, but we had a blast!!

Scooters

The boys are getting their scooters right down already :)

Merry Christmas!!

As you can see we had a wonderful Christmas and were all spoiled as always (even little Austin was spoiled, and he is not even born yet!!)

Prepping for Santa

 Before going to bed the boys tracked Santa's whereabouts...he was in Brazil!!

 We left the reindeer apples, carrots, and oranges to snack on. 

We also sprinkled magic dust so Santa could find our house but it is getting pretty windy so we had to hurry.  Good luck Santa flying in these winds!!

The boys laid out Santa's milk and cookies.  This year they made gingerbread cookies...gingerbread pirates (from a book Andrew read at school) and gingerbread trees!!

Early Present

 The boys' Christmas Eve present they chose to open were both from Gramma and Grampa and ended up being the Cars MicroDrifter track set which comes with 13 more drifter cars...

...and Optimus Maximus which holds 9 smaller Transformers Cyberverse characters!!   They also included 3 of the smaller characters so he can start filling him up!!

Alameda Park Zoo

We had a fun trip to the local zoo this morning.  It was still a little chilly so some of the animals were inside their shelters or taking a warm nap but we got to see a lot of animals nonetheless!!

Cloudcroft

 We originally drove up to Cloudcroft today for an event called "Santa Land".  When we got there early the boys were excited to get to play on the playground and that there was snow on the top of the mountain!!  They tried to build a small snowman and had a snowball fight with Grampa!!

They ended up deciding they didn't want to stay and wait for Santa so we didn't end up sticking
around much for the event, but did have yummy chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate!

 Andrew's teachers gave him Christmas presents today...

Mrs. Osterholm gave him a book and Miss. Tomke made him a framed needlework!!

Countdown Present #1

Gramma and Grampa have a countdown present for the boys for the last 5 days before Christmas...tonight's present #1 was Kimura the Japanese car for Riley (from Cars 2) and Robin with a Strike Shield for Andrew!!

Book Exchange

Andrew had a Christmas party at school today where they got to eat yummy Christmas food, bring home goodie bags, and give each other books for presents.  The book Andrew got from his classmate was "Jake and the NeverLand Pirates: A Skipping Day" which Gramma read to him this afternoon :)

Winter Wonderland

Tonight was the Winter Wonderland at the Youth Center.  The boys got to play ring toss and musical circles; decorate ornaments and cookies; make snowglobes and gingerbread houses; and jump in the bouncy house!  Riley won a cupcake for landing on the right circle in musical circles which his own teacher was there to play with him and Andrew shocked both Dad and I by eating a total of 4 cookies!

Little Elf

Andrew is so ready for Christmas he has decided to sleep in his Santa hat :)

Kindergarten Christmas Program

 Andrew had a Christmas play at school; he was one of the snowmen and they all sang Christmas songs!  The video didn't come out very good from Adam's phone because he was kind of far away but didn't he look cute?

White Sands

 Cathy took some really great photos with her camera as well!!!

 We had some more fun at White Sands today, but this time we got to take Nani along too :)

Sword Balloons

Dad made them sword balloons so they could sword fight :)

Walmart

Who says a trip to Walmart has to be boring?  The boys found a little arcade today in inside the store and rode the cart to the van.
