Allied American University

I am VERY excited to announce that I will be enrolling in a business degree program at Allied American University within the next week. The only thing I am waiting for is to get a scanned copy of my diploma and marriage certificate to them and then I will OFFICIALLY be an enrolled student there!!

This is a completely online course that consists of 40 courses to obtain a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. The degree will be broken down so that I can obtain smaller degrees along the way and use them as I can. So, firstly, after I finish my first 5 courses I will have earned a Certificate of Business with which I can get my foot in the door of a company if an opportunity presents itself at the time.

Secondly, I will take 15 more courses and will then have earned my Associates of Science in Business Administration and will be able to get a better job than I would be able to with the certificate.

And, finally, finishing off the last half is another 20 courses and will then have reached my goal of having a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.

At that point I would be able to optain a fairly good job with my degree and hopefully find a job easily as Adam is transferred to different bases. Depending on where we are at the time I can always transfer my credits to another University and work towards a Masters as well, but for right now I am concentrating on each small step at a time.

With me not working now it is a great time for me to finally get started and with the Air Force Spouse Credit it is only going to be $20,000 out of pocket for the entire Bachelor's degree which is less than one year at a normal college when I was graduating high school.

If I am able to do 1 course every 5 weeks then I will have completed it as a full time student, but luckily there is no time limit, so if I am not able to get them done that quickly it is not a huge deal. So wish me luck and keep me in your thoughts!!!!
