Besides my dentist appointment this morning, I had a nice lay-low day, I wish I had gotten more accomplished with my course, but I am going to work on that now that the boys are in bed!
For my birthday dinner I made chicken burgers which were very yummy, but I forgot to take a picture :-( Just pound chicken breasts, sprinkle lemon pepper on both sides. Fry up some bacon, drain on paper towels; using the same pan with the bacon grease fry up the chicken until it is cooked through, put the bacon on top, top with a slice of cheese (I used sliced mozarella) and put it on a bun with some mayo, YUMMY!!!
Adam helped me make my birthday cake yesterday, I am practicing for the boy's birthday cakes, so I decided to try out decorating a purse cake for myself. Besides the frosting, which is always my least favorite part, I was actually pretty proud of myself. It was extremely simple, but decorating is not my forte so I needed something simple, haha!!!

We can definitely have it while you are here!! I have a lot of recipes with chicken that you would probably enjoy!! As far as the cake is concerned I have got to get the secret from you about how you keep frosting from melting. When I made the cake Sunday and then put it in the cake carrier thing and by Monday evening the frosting was really runny and almost like liquid like it was too hot in the cake carrier. Any suggestions??
