Advent Calendar

Tomorrow being December 1st means it is the start of our advent calendar. This year we are putting a twist on things and making 24 different crafts for the family!! FUN FOR US, GIFTS FOR YOU!! Each day I will post a picture of the boys with the craft supplies to give you a small hint of what they are making that day. So, be on the lookout tomorrow for the 1st one!! Also, each of the presents I have made into a small riddle (dedicated especially to Mikey, the only one crazy enough to like to create mind games like me!!) so the title will be a hint of that as well!! But, nothing for the rest of you (NORMAL) people to worry about, haha!!

Updated House Pics

Adam took some new pictures of the house since we got our shipment; it actually looks and feels like a home now!!

Downtown

We took a walk downtown this afternoon; we took a different route so we saw a few different things that were very interesting. The big tree is decorated in the center of town for Christmas and they planted the little shrubs and plants along the cobblestone sidewalks. The statue is in front of the newspaper building and when we looked really closely we could see that all of the detail coming out from around the man's head are newspaper headlines that were printed at some point or another and of course all written in Italian! I love what you can see just strolling around for a couple hours!!

Presents

I wrapped Andrew & Riley's presents last night (all except one which is on back order) and when Andrew got up this morning he was very excited to see "PRESENTS, MOMMY!!!" Here is my little snoopy bug peeking through all of them!!

Rock Band

Adam has been waiting over a month for the TV to get here to finally be able to play this; here is Andrew rocking out on the drums with him!!!

Household Goods Shipment

Our household goods shipment came yesterday, we were so excited to get our stuff, but we didn't realize they just bring the stuff in and put it in a big pile, so to speak, we had to assemble everything ourselves since they took it apart to ship (which is not easy without directions since most of this stuff we have had for a few years). The packers also didn't seem to organize very well, we have found all kinds of random things in boxes together. Wish us luck on our never-ending task of organizing and unpacking!

Bounce Castle

Grammy and Grampy sent this for the boys so they could have some excitement in the backyard!! Andrew had a ball jumping around in it and Riley kept staring at the balls and playing with them on the edge!! Wish I was small enough to get in too, hahaha!!










When we were talking to Grammy on the phone the other day she brought it to our attention that she bought this with all the pennies Andrew had saved with them. That is pretty impressive!!

ElfYourself

This has become a MUST-DO holiday tradition for me (much to Adam's dislike!) so I thought I would get everyone in the holiday spirit!!!! This year I even found one that SINGS, Adam will LOVE it, NOT, hahaha!!!

Sitting Up

Riley can sit up for about 20 seconds on his own now!! Here he is sitting looking out the window!! It's a bit blurry since I was hurrying, I didn't want him to topple onto his head!! He also is sitting on our new shag rug we bought especially to cushion falls, lol!!!

Furniture

We got our new furniture today!! Our little models are testing out the comfort of the couch and the loveseat, but they had already gone to bed when we put the futon together in the Guest Room. Now we are ready for our visitors!!!!
