Beach Caorle

We went to the beach today with the Brendemihls and the Lowes; we ended up spending much more time on the road than at the beach because they had prior obligations and I was following them, but now I know how to get there so we can go back with Daddy once he gets home!! We had a ball though even in the short time as you can see!! Riley hated the water when I tried to take him in and much prefered to be in the sand; Andrew loved both so we will definitely go back!!

Playtent

Andrew made himself a bed inside the playtent; I thought he was just laying in there playing, but apparently he was ready for bed, haha!

Pool Time Again!!

It has been so hot lately so when we got home this afternoon I decided to let the boys take their first dip of the summer in their alligator pool!!!

Happy Birthday Riley

Riley is having an awesome birthday and Andrew is getting some spoiling too!! Riley officially has his tricycle now and won't have to fight with Andrew everyday to use his! I successfully completed his monster truck cake and I am happy with it; my cakes never look professional but I always have fun with them anyway! Riley dug right in and started eating the dirt immediately as you can see in the picture; he already has a dirty face!!

Sneaky

While I was on the phone with Michael I am watching Riley try to get into one of his birthday boxes. I thought there was no way he could get into that box, however, his hard work paid off and he got a hand in!! Uncle Mikey said they could have their presents a day early for all Riley's effort!! Name cups!! Good job Uncle Mikey actually finding one with Riley's name on; it is never easy!!

Carnival

We went to the annual carnival with Tiffanie and Cathy this evening and had a blast as you can see!! They rode lots of rides and Mommy even got to ride one since there was an adult required. Andrew got 1600 points on an arcade game by catching 9 swans, 2 whales, and 4 ducks with a fishing pole, which he was able to get a bow and arrow set with! Riley ended up sleeping through most of the carnival, but afterward we went to have pizza and then played at the park with Andrew & Cathy's new toys and Riley was awake for those parts!!

Happy Mothers Day

Thank you Gramma for sending boys presents to give me; they were beautiful and I love them!! I need to find a safe place to put my coffee planter because Riley can reach the cupboards now!! The boys had so much fun putting the stickers on and I had to stay in the room to oversee operations because Riley kept sticking the stickers on Daddy's face, haha!! Then Andrew made me his special Mother's Day cake which he has been talking about for over a week (it was really gross, but I did take a taste for him...)

Jungle Adventure

Andrew took Riley and I on a shortcut through the "jungle" as he calls it; he had discovered this the other day on a walk with Cathy and Miss. Tiffanie and he was very anxious to do it again. The grass there was taller than their heads!

Being Silly

I was trying to teach the boys how to hang off the couch backwards to save me from having to tote them both around upside down and it was hilarious! The only downfall is me having enough time to run to the couch, flip upside down and hold Riley upside down before the timer expires, haha!! But, it was enjoyable!!
