G is for...

This week, around Gramma and Grampa's house, we found garland, glue, (drinking) glasses, goldfish, (snow) globe, gloves, gel paint, Gillette (shaving cream), green beans, and garlic powder; we made goody bars; colored a picture of a giraffe; played golf on the Wii; found the following toys: garage, (water) gun, Green Lantern jet, (play) grapes, and Geotrax; and made a ghost for our craft of the week!!

Jokers Family Day

Today we went to Jokers with most of the family; all three sets of grandparents, 3 uncles, and their 2nd cousin even stopped in to play a little!! We all had fun and with so many people working toward tickets for them, they got a LOT this time, 5096!!!! They were able to get lots of great prizes!!

McDonald's PlayPlace

While I was out to supper with the girls from work, Gramma, Grampa, and Uncle Mikey took the boys to McDonald's so they could play in the playplace!! Luckily Bath is one of the few with an indoor one!

Childrens Museum

We went to the Children's Museum today and had a great time!! Andrew had fun just like he always does, and this was Riley's first time and he really enjoyed himself as well!! There was a lot to see and do there!!

Jokers

Mimi and Papa took us to Joker's today; it was Riley's first time tackling the a-maze-ing playhouse and he did a pretty good job!! I had to carry him through parts of it where his little legs fell through, but for the most part, he was crawling along as fast as he could!! The boys loved the arcade games and the ride-ons a lot too!!!

Bowling Alley

We went bowling again today, this time with Mimi and Papa!! They had an arcade there as well, and the boys got to do some Nascar racing, and Andrew found a pirate ship shooting game!!

F is for...

This week we found, around Gramma & Grampa's house, fireplace, fish tank, fork, frying pan, flashlight, frame, Funyuns, floss, faucet, and flowers; we made fudge for our recipe of the week, colored a picture of a frog for our animal of the week, played Flinch for our activity of the week; found in our stash of toys: Flo, a (rubber) fish (bath toy), (Mr.) Freeze, (pretend) french fries, and a fill station; and we made a fire truck for our craft of the week!!

The Rumpus Room

Gramma had heard of this place from her hair stylist, and so we decided to give it a try this afternoon!! It was really awesome and we all had a great time; the boys were so excited to be able to play with all these new toys and there were a few other kids there as well!!

E is for...

This week, around Gramma and Grampa's house we found an extension cord, an eyeglass case, an electric skillet, the entertainment center, envelopes, an encyclopedia, earrings, erasers, elastics, and Energizer batteries. We also made Eskimo pie, colored a picture of an elephant, and went on an expedition through the snow. We went through our toys here and found an elevator, an engine, eggplant, Ernie, and an excavator. For our craft of the week, we made egg critters.

Bowling

We went bowling today after our adventures in the snow; the boys had a blast and even loved playing in the arcade. They raced against each other twice, and each won once!!

Snowball Fight

We had a snowball fight too; FUN!!!

Playing in the Snow

We got in some playtime in the snow again this morning!! The snow was sticky, so we got to make a snowman and Grampa even made the boys a snow fort, which Andrew loved!! Riley wasn't really in the mood for it at the time, but it was toward the end of our snow play, so he was kind of irritable!

Sledding

We went sledding today, and we all had a blast!!

SNOW...

We got here just in time for a little blizzard it seems...

Andrew was so excited to be able to play in the snow; he made snow angels, climbed through the snowbanks and even helped shovel!!

Riley had fun for about 20 seconds when apparently he realized how cold it is! He fell asleep soon thereafter!!

Walmart Gift Cards

With the gift cards from Gramma & Grampa Andrew got the Batwing plane and Riley got some new monkey rain boots!!

D is for...

I rearranged last week's D activities around when we were supposed to be traveling, and now that we are here we are a little behind on the alphabet week activities, but we are catching up slowly!

On Sunday, we found around the house: the dryer, the dishwasher, a dustpan, drawers, a DVD player, doors, dressers, diapers, a duster, and Andrew's DS!! On Monday, we made Double Chocolate Chip Brownies!! On Tuesday, we read about and colored a picture of a dog!! On Wednesday, we played Duck Duck Goose; Riley didn't quite understand, but Andrew had fun running around the house chasing us! On Thursday, we went through our toys and found drums, Diego, dump truck, dragon, and Duck (a train)!! And, today, for our craft of the week we made Dinosaur Feet!!
