Happy Birthday Uncle Mikey

I had made Mikey a lemon book-shaped birthday cake as a belated birthday present for his visit. I forgot to take a picture of him with the actual cake before we cut it and started eating it Monday, so I figured I would get a picture of him eating it with his French Vanilla ice cream today.

This morning we went to clean out the van and get the luggage and car seats. I snapped a picture as best as I could, but they have it parked against a wall. :(

Patio Set

Here's Adam and Andrew at the new patio set!!

This one was MUCH easier to put together; the chairs were already put together, we just had to put the cushions on and the rest was a cinch!!!

Dining Table

We went to the warehouse this morning to pick up our new dining set!!! It has a bench and then 4 chairs; the small one was getting to be TOO small and definitely time for a new one!!! We picked up our patio set at the same time, but I didn't get a chance to assemble that one yet, this one took me quite a while!!! But 75 bolts and several screws later it is together HAHA!!! And I will post the picture of the patio set tomorrow after I get that one done!!!

Air Show

The Italian aerobatic team Freece Tricolori did a practice run this morning before their big air show in June, so we took the boys out to watch it. Andrew was really excited and kept asking Adam "Daddy, did you put gas in those airplanes?" Ever since I told him that is what Daddy does for work everytime he sees an airplane he asks him that, priceless!!! It was a nice show, though, can't wait for the real thing with other countries as well!!!

Dancing

Anna was over again today and Andrew and her were dancing to Adam's music. I tried to get a video but only caught the tail end of it each time. They were so adorable though!!

Playing with Anna

Anna is over at our house playing today; her little sister might be coming a few weeks early!!! We all had our breakfast together when she first got here and now we are playing. All 3 of them are having a ton of fun, the animal train seems to be the biggest hit for them to all play together, and Andrew and Anna are having a ball chasing each other as well!!!

Our Busy Day

We had a very nice family day today, we used our grill for the first time today and had some buffalo chicken with corn on the cob, YUMMY!!! We then went for a drive up the mountain (pictures below) which was also a first for us, since when we got here the rain season had started heavy and we didn't want to take a chance with it being slippery so we wanted to wait for beatiful weather. It was really windy once we got up there, so the boys are shivering, but we still got a nice family picture from the top!!

We then headed back to the base and took the boys to see How To Train Your Dragon at the theatre; we only ended up seeing about 20 minutes of it because Andrew ended up not feeling well and when we got home I realized he had a temperature of 102 so it was no wonder he wasn't in the mood. So, it was a wonderful day with not such a great ending, but he is asleep in my lap now with his 2nd dose of Tylenol in his system, so hopefully we can fight this, poor guy... (But, at least he looks happy by the movie poster, doesn't he?? He is holding onto his ticket tight, haha!!)

Cars Patio Set

We bought a grill for summer today, we are still contemplating which patio set we want to get for adults, but the boys fell in love with this little one for kids, so we were able to get theirs today!! Here are the little cuties at their table!!

HAPPY EASTER

The boys had fun finding all the hidden eggs this morning; I had them all the way down the stairs but Andrew had gotten all of those by the time I got the camera... 48 TOTAL!!! They were excited to see the baskets on the table as well and we enjoyed making a big mess dying the eggs (which is Daddy's least favorite part, haha!). On two of the eggs Daddy wrote each of their names with a wax pen and Andrew thought that was cool when they came out of the dye with no color there AND Riley just wanted to crush them, lol.

New Booster Seat

Riley outgrew the booster seat we had ordered for him when we first got here and I found this much better one!!!

Sarah's Baby Shower

This afternoon we went to Sarah's baby shower and the boys had a blast!! Riley even found himself a little girl his age to play with!!! Sarah got a lot of nice presents and we played lots of fun games too!!!
