The boys got a special Thanksgiving box from Gramma and Grampa today with some goodies and gift cards!! Austin got a cute duck rattle and Andrew and Riley got Skylanders' dog tags in the box. With their gift cards Andrew got Magna Charge and Free Ranger; Riley got Countdown and Slobber Tooth; and Austin applied his to a walker he can chase us around the house in!!
Austin may not like the snow experience from his first Christmas but he sure seems to like the decorations :)
I opened the windows to this! I am so glad it happened on a Sunday because sometimes it melts before we get home to play in it (and I don't have to drive in it) Riley is still sleeping, but boy is he going to be excited!!!!
Now Andrew and Riley can both cross off a day every day because we have 2 countdown calendars!!! Gramma and Grampa are coming to spend Christmas with us :) I wish Daddy's was a LOT shorter, but we are happy that Gramma and Grampa's is!!
We had Bingo for Books tonight at Andrew's school. We didn't win any books, but we still had fun!!
Adam and I had a date day this afternoon after his appointments. We had a nice lunch at Pepper's, a stroll around Hastings with some caramel frappes, and went to see Thor The Dark World (which I actually LOVED!!!)
I never thought I could drive a car again with 3 kids in seats; it is a bit cramped, but we're making it work :) Brother bonding time :)
Today was Andrew's special day with just him and Dad :) They went to the movies to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 and then had lunch at McDonalds!!

Adam's already packing :( But I did get the picture changed out in his deployment frame to include Austin :) Time to start dwelling on the positives!
