Riley's first time Candlepin Bowling

Andrew's first time Candlepin Bowling

Candlepin Bowling

Gramma and Grampa took us candlepin bowling this afternoon. I am sure I have done it once or twice before in my entire life, but this was a first for the boys :) It was fun, but I still think we prefer ten-pin bowling.

Telescope

Nani gave Andrew her old telescope so we could start doing some stargazing. He practiced looking at the walls in their kitchen :)

Toys from Bumpa & Nani

After dinner last night Bumpa and Nani took us to WalMart to buy the boys some toys. The boys had to get to bed last night, so they did not have time to play with their new toys, but first thing this morning they immediately opened them!! Andrew put all 3 of his Lego sets together, and Riley raced his truck with Francesco and Lightning McQueen. The new big truck won with a huge size advantage!

My Birthday

I was quite spoiled today for my birthday; a visit from Dad with flowers, chocolates, and a balloon; a visit from Michael with a Kindle gift card; flowers and balloons from Mom, Pa, and the boys; visiting the girls from work; and dinner at Applebee's, chocolates, and charms for my charm bracelet from Rick and Cathy!! I am so very blessed to have such a loving and attentive family, and am so thankful for all of you! Thank you for such a wonderful quarter century birthday celebration today!!

Grampa's Truck

The boys love riding in Grampa's truck; here they are on their way to pick up a birthday surprise for Mommy!!

Lego Set

Andrew loves playing with Uncle Clayton's Legos so much that Gramma and Grampa spoiled him with his own set today; it was a 206 piece set of Lex Luther Supervillian vs Superman and Wonder Woman. It took awhile, but it was fun to put together!! Andrew was so proud once it was done!

SNOW

When the boys and I woke up this morning we noticed it had snowed!! Unfortunately by the time we got outside to play in it most of it had melted but we still had a nice adventure walking around looking for snow patches!

Clinton Playground

Papa took us to the local playground at the elementary school to play. It was a little chilly, but we had a blast otherwise!!

Coffee House/Train

Papa took us to see the building he is under contract with to become his new coffeehouse; and on the way back to his house we got to see the train pass us by up close. It has been awhile since we saw a train at a railroad crossing, so the boys got pretty excited!

Jokers

We had our first trip to Jokers yesterday! The boys had a wonderful time as always, and Riley got to ride the Jokers' slide for the first time ever (since last year he was too short!)!

Arcade Games

Riley is getting to be quite the pro at the arcade games; he knows how to load the token, play the game, and REPEAT :P

Our Day at Mimi and Papa's

Riley spending some time with the animals at Mimi and Papa's

Andrew playing some Legos and spending some time with the big kids!

Papa also bought them some cool new boots (which I didn't get a picture of) and new toys (2 Batman figurines for Andrew & a tractor trailer truck for Riley).

Light Up Masks

The boys and I were modeling the light up masks Gramma and Grampa bought for them to dress up in; they are actually Mardi Gras masks that they found, but they work to pretend to be Green Lantern too!!

Staging

The boys decided that Gramma and Grampa's built up garden area would work as staging :)

Inflatable Bunny

Here are the boys in front of Gramma's inflatable bunny for Easter!

"Penguin"

Here is Andrew posing as Penguin!

Family Fort Night

Since the boys and I are hopefully coming to Maine later this week this will be our last Family Fort Night for awhile. Don't we look cozy? :)

Cushions

The boys love taking my couch cushions to make wrestling/jumping mats; and today included a stepstool?!?! Those crazy boys!! :)

Batville

Andrew (aka Batman!) made Bat-signs for all of the boys' vehicles so there would be no mistake who they belonged to, haha!!
